That’s so tragic. I don’t understand the governments (not only India). So many people die just because of acts of desperation. If I think of all the refugies that drowne in the mediterranean sea lately. It is shocking.

Ultimately the politicians that form governments are approved by the people who vote for them. But does that approval stretch to accepting their behaviour? Democracy, in so far as it exists and if we choose to accept it, makes us all responsible although, in my opinion, some are more responsible than others and should be held to account.
